Project Update 10-1-2018

The rock revetment and ELJ at RM 2.5 were substantially completed. Work began placing rootwad logs in the overflow channel at RM 3.0. Trail work continues on the south side trail with an road having been constructed to access the western portion of the trail, and punch list work having been completed on the western portion. The lowland trail was graded and compacted, and work began placing crushed rock over geotextile fabric. Bulk bags were placed to protect bridge abutment excavations. Logs were placed throughout the site in high density planting areas. Remaining ELJs continue to be constructed. Grading and the placement of topsoil continued throughout the site, and haul roads were obliterated in select portions of the site. All rock collars and racking bundles were completed for helicopter placement early next week. Limited duration releases from Sullivan Lake began late Thursday morning.
