Upland areas with pronounced desiccation cracks were track-walked by dozer to provide a safe and stable surface for future planting activities and minimize future erosion. Starter channels at the lower reaches, just above the dam site, were excavated to expose the historic channel beneath impounded sediments. A large low-land sand deposition in the upper portion of the lower reach was dozed into stockpiles. Engineered log jams (ELJ) continued to be constructed at the middle reaches of the site.
