Trail crews began constructing by hand, the eastern portion of a trail that will connect to the abandoned Forest Service road trail. Top soil was spread in upland areas in the upper portion of the lower reach. Cobble was transferred from the upper portion of the lower reach to the campground and was graded. Construction began on log jam structures adjacent to the campground, and the top of the campground cut bank was graded. Northwest Youth Corps was on site to conduct campground improvements, limbing trees, replacing fire rings and campsite site markers, and placing concrete pads for bear secure food storage lockers.
